Steeleville School District 138

Registration for Steeleville Elementary School will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All students entering kindergarten (or first grade if they have not attended kindergarten, the sixth grade, ninth grade, and transfer students must have the necessary physicals and immunizations by September 1 of each school year. Students not conforming to this regulation will be excluded from school until the necessary requirements are completed.

Dental exams are now required for Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 6th grade. Vision exams are required for Kindergarten students.

All new families must provide proof of residency at the time of registration.

Proof of residency may include: Current monthly utility statement (electric, gas, cable, water); closing papers on a recent purchase of residence; current Illinois Public Aid Medical Card.

The following are NOT VALID for proof of residency: Water turn-on receipt; Illinois driver's license; voter registration card; FOID card; rent receipts; automobile registration, telephone bill.

New students must also provide a copy of their registered birth certificate at the time of registration.

There will be no early registration. Students not able to register on Thursday, August 5 can register from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. after August 5.

Steeleville High School Freshmen will register Wednesday, August 4, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors will register Thursday, August 5, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

New high school students will register on Thursday, August 5, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
