Course Description

This course is designed to assist students in achieving satisfaction through their development from adolescence to adulthood. Emphasis is placed on the development of prevention strategies which assist students in making life decisions. The course is student based and varying topics are covered according to the current interests of the students. The focus of the course is to help students develop positive relationships and interactions within their home, work, and social environments.

Assessment

The class is taught through lecture, projects, presentations, readings, and videos. Students frequently work in groups to enhance the learning experience. Students are given worksheets and other related handouts for each unit. Tests are given after each chapter
