Course DescriptionCVE is a course for senior trainees who work a minimum of 10 hours per week at an approved training station and attend the CVE related class each day at school. Written training agreements are completed between the student, the school, and the training station which list the expectations of each in detail. CVE Related is taught in the classroom and is an extension of the workplace. The classroom material is designed to help students prepare for their career paths.
Course ObjectivesThe Cooperative Education Program is a course planned to prepare students for future employment. The purpose of this course is to provide the student with extensive career orientation as well as experience in the working world. The development of employability skills and career exploration will help the student become aware of their present and future role as a worker in today’s society.

Teaching MethodsThis class is taught through lecture, projects, presentations, reading, and discussion. Students are working in individual areas of interest on many of the projects and assignments. Students are allowed to work together on selected assignments. Students are given review sheets for each unit to help them prepare for tests.
