4. Motion by Brian Smith, seconded by Richard Tretter to employ Alice Decker as 2/7 high school Spanish teacher beginning 2009-2010 school year.

5. Motion by Richard Tretter, seconded by Brian Smith to accept a contract with consultant Jill Dare to manage Erate filings for our district with compensation being 10% of the total dollars the district receives from the Erate filings.

6. Motion by Harry Rahlfs, seconded by Brian Smith to approve the high school and grade school parent/student handbook as presented by Ms. Hagel and Ms. Mulholland with the noted changes.

7. Motion by Richard Tretter, seconded by Brian Smith to authorize the District’s IMRF Authorized Agent, Cindra Ramsey, to notify IMRF that the District wishes to decline the Optional Phase In Rate and therefore approves the 2010 rate of 12.04%.

Motion by Richard Tretter, seconded by John Hostert to approve the following fees: Book rental K-12 - $35.00; Art 5-8 - $15.00; Art 9-12 - $25.00; Home Ec - $15.00; Driver’s Ed - $50.00; Typing - $15.00; Accounting - $15.00; Computers - $15.00; Record Keeping - $15.00; Physics - $15.00; Chemistry I & II - $15.00; Anatomy - $15.00; Biology - $15.00; Spanish - $15.00; Woodworking - $15.00; Sociology - $15.00.
